The Care3 Difference

Welcome to Care3, a single point of contact to assist older Australians and their families in our community better manage their health and lifestyle needs.

Care3 works with older people, their families and nominated representatives.

Often people look for support when something unexpected happens, and urgent assistance is required to make decisions regarding changes to health care needs, daily living routines and accommodation.Providing support to an older person can be stressful and daunting.

The complexities of navigating our Aged Care system and the limited government funded resources makes it difficult for many families and representatives to navigate particularly when they are time poor due to business commitments, have competing family obligations or are geographically separated.

  • Penny Holcombe was a huge assistance to myself and my mother when my father had to be placed urgently into a nursing home. Taking my mother around personally, she allowed her to see a variety of places, and eventually they selected a very suitable nursing home for my father's last months. Penny's understanding of the complex world of nursing home admissions was fantastic, and matching a suitable nursing home to my father's situation was very good, and took much of the hassle away from us. I have passed on Care3 to many of my friends, and always been thanked for introducing them to Penny.

  • Penny provided sound advice and recommendations around suitable levels of care in the home and when it was time to consider residential aged care, Penny's knowledge was invaluable in helping us choose the appropriate level of care at the most suitable facility to meet our mother's particular needs. Penny was available and very approachable at all times which assisted our family through this difficult time in our lives. I would recommend Penny unreservedly to provide timely, practical advice regarding home based and residential aged care.

  • Penny Holcombe and Care3 have advised our family since 2013 in the transition to
Aged care both residential and Nursing home for a member of our family.
Penny gave excellent advice and assistance in both moves and was particularly
Helpful with a long sensitive discussion with one of my siblings about the processes.
She was very helpful with final negotiation with placement in the nursing home.
Penny and Care3 have our family’s overwhelming endorsement and recommendation.
